Do you accept insurance?

No, this practice does not accept insurance. A sliding scale, private pay structure is offered to meet clients where they are and make counseling accessible. Private pay sounds intimidating to many but the benefits are far greater than you may initially realize. Private pay allows for greater flexibility in the types of treatment you can access. That means we can choose a session length and meeting frequency that works for you without the waiting game or bureaucracy of dealing with insurance codes and processing. You’ll also have greater confidentiality - with therapy session details remaining strictly between you and your clinician.

What do sessions cost?

60 minute sessions are $150 and 90 minute sessions are $225. How often we meet is entirely up to you. Sliding scale options are always available. Let’s discuss sliding scale pricing in your complimentary consultation!

What are my appointment format and length options?

Accepted Answer

Both virtual and in-person sessions are available. Most clients choose to meet online in a video call. Virtual appointments are available to clients anywhere in Texas. However, an office space is available in San Marcos for local clients who prefer a face-to-face therapy model. Appointment durations can be either 60 or 90 minutes.The frequency of your visits is entirely up to you, with clients commonly choosing either bi-weekly, weekly or monthly.

How does therapy work?

After we complete the initial consultation and determine that this is the right method of support for you, we’ll begin individual counseling sessions. Typically, we begin meeting weekly to build rapport, establish therapeutic goals, explore your experiences and determine a plan of action. As we progress and your needs change, we may discuss tapering services to every other week, and then possibly once a month. Eventually, you might decide to shift into a maintenance (as needed) model or decide to conclude therapy altogether. This process will vary from client to client as there are no fixed timelines for growth and healing. We will work together to determine what works best for you.

What happens when I have met my goals and I'm ready to be done?

Accepted Answer

Therapy sessions are entirely on your terms. From session to session, you will always have the opportunity to continue on with therapy or end our time together. Clients are never locked into any form of commitment. After all, this is a space entirely for and about you!
