An approach to counseling rooted in a belief in a collaborative and mutual relationship between client and counselor.

Having confidential, non-judgmental support during our most vulnerable times can be life changing.  When the right support conditions are in place it can help us adapt and begin to rebuild a sense of hope and direction, even during the most difficult circumstances of life.

We all respond in unique and deeply personal ways when we are faced with hardship and your counseling experience should be tailored to your unique needs and situation.

Spiral leaves pattern

Our current culture often celebrates and supports a frenzied pace, multitasking, and constant busyness.

Our current culture often relies on communication through social media, texting, and messaging - communication that is rushed, carefully curated, or diminished to sound bites.

And so, in this current culture, it’s understandable that we sometimes find it difficult to give ourselves permission to slow down and to fully express ourselves in the undivided presence of a supportive other.  To express ourselves in real time, to share what is happening to us now. Before we’ve struggled through and made meaning and found inspiration and created something that looks good in a post.

In this space you will be heard and fully tended to. This is a space to practice permission giving.  To slow down. Together, we will sort through the pieces and determine the best next step.

This is a space where you are welcomed to share your hurt and vulnerability.   To ramble when you need to ramble, ugly cry, laugh, say the “unacceptable”, revel in the personal triumphs.

Simply express your truth and find your own unique path forward.

Welcome!

This is a space where HOPE resides
